Fight a battle on your own street
Pick any place on the world map, frame 380 metres of real ground, and fight over it in any era. The buildings, woods, roads and hedges all come from OpenStreetMap, so your battlefield looks like the real place, because it is.

How it works
Find your ground
Search for a place by name, or pan and zoom around the world map. Your street, your town square, your old school, a famous landmark, anywhere.
Frame the fight
A gold frame shows exactly the 380 metres of real ground that will become the battlefield. Move it until it covers the fight you want.
Pick an era
World War II, the American Civil War, medieval, or the far future. The same streets play completely differently with muskets, knights or tanks.
Fight
Any War builds the battlefield from OpenStreetMap: buildings to clear, woods and hedges to hide in, roads to rush down. Then it's yours to win.

Anywhere on Earth questions
How big is the battlefield?
You frame 380 metres of real ground. That is a few city blocks, a village center, or a stretch of fields and woods: the right size for a fight between squads.
Does it work in my country?
If OpenStreetMap has mapped the place, you can fight there. Busy towns and cities are usually mapped in detail. Remote places may have fewer buildings and features on the map.
Is it a subscription?
No. After the 7-day free trial it is a one-time purchase of $4.99.
Can I still play for free?
Yes. Any War is free to download, and all six historic battles are free to play.
